Live Love Velo is Long Island’s only Women’s Cycling Club. Our mission is to empower women to discover their fullest potential, improve health and fitness and find connection through cycling. We offer opportunities for women cyclists of all abilities, from newbies who are seeking a confidence boost,  to established cyclists wanting to increase their on-the-bike skills, to supporting our members who are passionate about racing.

We are women who are passionate about riding bikes.  Live Love Velo currently boasts a roster of over 50 inspirational women, and our membership grows each year. We range in age from our mid-twenties to early sixties. We are moms, nurses, scientists, lawyers, government employees, teachers and professionals who make time to ride our bikes, for fun, exercise or competition, while artfully balancing work and family.  Bicycling empowers us to be our best, on and off the bike. We believe that by making cycling accessible and promoting its viability as a lifestyle choice among women, we stand to improve our health, enrich our families and benefit our communities and the environment.

The Live Love Velo Club is a safe, supportive and encouraging environment where women can share their love of cycling.  Live Love Velo is a co-operative organization.  Our members’ contributions of their time and skills make Live Love Velo awesome.   Live Love Velo club members are entitled to discounts at our sponsor shops, Carl Hart in Middle Island, and Kreb Cycle, in Bellport, NY.

Live Love Velo operates in association with the East End Cycling Team and is a registered club with USACycling.
